Float Down and Demo of Lake St Bridge

From October 13, 2026, to October 14, 2026, the Coast Guard will enforce two safety zones for the CDOT bridge repair operations on the Lake Street Bridge. These zones consist of a moving safety zone to assist with relocating a bridge segment on the south branch of the Chicago River, and a stationary safety zone for demolition activities.
