Since 1983, Commissioned State Ship Pilot in Massachusetts Pilot District Two.  Responsible for current Salem $300 million port conversion to Offshore Wind port project creation and established launch of Salem passenger ferry service to Port of Boston now running over 20yrs.

Current President of Mass Bay Harbor Safety Committee.  Conference Chair for 2022 NHSCC held in Boston.

Senior Instructor, Mass Maritime Academy - Advanced Ship Handling Manned Model program.

Many years of involvement in all manner of port development planning and regulation including dredging, offshore LNG terminals, Designated Port Area regulation and facilities redesign and coastal permits.
