Patrick Gallagher
Chair of Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee
Patrick Gallagher is the Executive Director of the Marine Exchange of Puget Sound and the current Chair of the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee. Patrick retired from the Coast Guard in 2019 as a Commander after 22 years of service. Some of his Coast Guard career highlights include assignments aboard the Cutter MELLON, Cutter STEADFAST, Executive Officer at STATION NEW YORK, Enforcement Division Officer and SECTOR PUGET SOUND and Response Department Head at SECTOR HONOLULU. He serves on the Emergency Response Towing Vessel Compliance Group, Quiet Sound Leadership Committee, Green Marine West Coast Advisory Council, and several other committees and councils.
Patrick lives on Bainbridge Island, WA with his wife, Olymar, and two daughters, Hannah & Genevieve.
Patrick is deeply committed to ocean conservation while promoting the future of maritime industry.
